"Flock is a Web browser that's comes with social-networking features built-in. It uses the same rendering engine as Mozilla's Firefox, and can even install most Firefox add-ons. Where it stands apart is in letting users keep track of social activity on sites like Twitter, MySpace, Facebook, Flickr, and others."

Web Winners and Losers in 2009
By Joe Brockmeier for Linux Magazine
Flock, the “social” Web browser, picked up a minor win here by being chosen as an alternative for the [Microsoft Windows] “browser ballot.” Though Flock is a nifty idea and has interesting features, it lacks the marketing muscle of the major players. This might help the scrappy little gang of “Flock Stars” to increase Flock’s market penetration.
